CLC Meeting – January 17, 2013
SSMDLC.COM — January 10, 2013

As part of an effort to push for progressive change in our communities and elect a progressive government in the next federal election that truly represents the needs of working people and their families, we are looking to establish a community-based coalition in this region. The objective and the goal for this community coalition will be to change the political conversation and to expose the Conservative MPs for all the policies they support which negatively affect workers, their families and communities in general.

We are looking for a wide range of activists from labour and community organizations to help us build this community coalition. Our goal is to be able to carry out focused work that aligns with our stated goals over the next 2-3 years. We want to attract people who have a diversity of skills and experiences that will allow our coalition to have a significant impact in determining the outcome of the next federal election in our community.

We are having an initial meeting on January 17, 2013 at 7:00 pm at the Delta Hotel in Sault Ste. Marie. We would appreciate if each organization or union send at least one representative to the meeting.

We will be serving light refreshments and would like to have a general idea of how much to order. Please RSVP to Eddie Ste. Marie (CLC representative) by email at:, or by phone at: 1-800-387-3500, ext. 226
